I absolutely LOVED this concept of this already truly comic Rossini opera (for my money, the funniest of them all, alongside its bookend, Il Turco in Italia). Some are comparing it to an Austin Powers or James Bond send-up…to me it's as if a ShAg (Josh Agle) painting has magically come to life. An absolute visual stunner, swinging 60s party…let's all dive into that shark-infested Mid Century Modern pool and *enjoy*… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
